Bentley Brooklands R
1998, SCBZE19C3WCX66133, Black
The pictures of this 1998 Brooklands R are sent to me in June 2012 by the third owner, who is living in South Carolina, USA. The car was originally shipped to the Steve Foley Rolls-Royce/Bentley dealership in the midwest. It was transferred and sold by Bentley High Point in North Carolina, where it lived with its second owner.
This is an absolutely standard short wheelbase car. According to its build sheet, it has no options whatsoever. The Brooklands R has a standard wire mesh grille, a plain winged B badge, and new lower bumper valence with black wire mesh inserts. The headlamp surrounds are painted to match the body color on this 1998 car. The interior pictures show the "ergonomic" steering wheel, pleated leather door panels and standard Brooklands vertically pleated seating (as opposed to the Sport seat of the Turbo RT). The shift lever is mounted in the center of the console on these very late SZ cars, rather than offset to one side.
