Characteristics and peculiarities

Backgrounds of this model
- The Rolls-Royce Silver Spur II Touring Limousine is a Rolls-Royce Silver Spur II that was lengthened by 24 inch.
- The model was presented as the successor of the Rolls-Royce Phantom VI as well as the next generation stretch limousine after the 42 inch stretch limousine of which the sales died away in 1988.
- The car is also called "Mulliner Park Ward Silver Spur II Limousine".
- Production was strictly limited to around 25 cars a year in order to retain a certain exclusivity.
- 22 Of the Silver Spur II Touring Limousines were manufactured in the first model year (1992), every one of them exported, of which 18 went to Pacific Rim countries.

General characteristics
- The stretch is all behind the rear doors.
- The rear doors are slightly different from those fitted to normal Silver Spurs, but they are standard-length doors.
- The roof is raised with 2.2 inch.
- The car has incorporated a glass 'moon-roof' with electrically operated blind.
- The car has a six-light configuration.
- Deep rear quarter body panels and a small backlight. Silk curtains could be specified for all the rear windows.
- All the additional 24 inches are incorporated within the rear compartment.
- The car features an electrically operated central division with a blind.
- A burr walnut veneered centre console featuring a complete range of audio visual equipment, comprising a ten inch screen television and a compact disc player with remote stacker unit.
- To one side of the console a cocktail cabinet contains three silver-topped crystal decanters and four tumblers with space for mixer bottles. On the other side is a fully trimmed occasional rearward seat folded away into the division when not in use. The division contains also two exquisitely veneered folding picnic tables.
- A refrigeration concealed behind the drop-down centre armrest.
- The centre armrest contains also writing accessories and a remote control for the audio and visual equipment.
- Separate fully automatic air-conditioning systems for both compartments, with dual-level heating for front and rear seats, the latter individually adjustable.
- Footwell lamps installed at the base of the rear seats and bottoms of the rear doors, which operate when a door is opened. These are called 'puddle lamps'.
- Intercom system between the chauffeur and passengers.
- Tyres 235/70 HR15.
