Characteristics and peculiarities

Backgrounds of this model
- The Bentley Turbo S is a special edition of the model year 1995 Turbo R. The Bentley Turbo S introduced a turbocharged, water-air intercooler engine that broke through the 300 kW and 400 bhp barrier. The engine is a (Garrett AirResearch) turbocharged 6,75 litre V8 with liquid-cooled intercooler, 402 bhp, 616 lb/ft.
- The Turbo S has no predecessor or successor but is a model besides already available models. The Turbo S was a 'niche' model to keep sales up in the years of recession.
- The Bentley Turbo S was designed to be built in very limited numbers, no more than 100 orders would be accepted and, in the event, just 60 cars were built.
- The Turbo S is supplied to selected European, Middle Eastern and Asian markets only.
- A long wheelbase version is not manufactured.

General characteristics
- Liquid-cooled intercooler together with an engine management system based on Formula One technology and revised induction system.
- A higher front bumper with integral air dam and shorter radiator shell.
- Continental R's 17 inch vented aluminium alloy wheels and 255/55WR17 tyres (Turbo R 16 inch) and rear fairing (later Turbo R Mark IV bumpers).
- Discrete motif on the walnut waistrail.
- New, deeply bolstered sports seats.
- Numbered plates on the engine.
