The model was provided with a green label but wasn't called Arnage Green label. In het middle of 1998 Bentley became the property of Volkswagen and the comeback of the 6750 cc V8 was planned. From model year 2000 on the Arnage was powered with this 6750 cc V8 engine again. This model with the 6750 cc V8 was called Arnage Red label. The BMW-engine stayed available besides the 6750 cc V8 and the model year 2000 version with the 4398 cc V8 BMW engine was called the Arnage Green label. - The Bentley Arnage is the successor of the 4-door Bentley Brooklands. - The Bentley Arnage is based on the same bodyshell as the Silver Seraph. The Silver Seraph was unveiled at the Geneva International Motor Show on 3rd March 1998. Arnage's debut was on 26th April on Le Mans. - The Bentley Arnage was not immediately available in a stretched edition. The free space in the rear didn't make that necessary. From model year 2000 a Bentley Arnage could be ordered with a longer wheel base. Michelin and Avon. 5 spoke cast aluminium alloy wheels. - Analogue instruments. - Driver information panel. - Trip computer. - Steering wheel mounted cruise control. - Electrochromic self-dimming rear view mirror. - Exterior mirrors dip on selection of reverse gear. - Four way electrically adjustable front seats with 4 memory settings, two-stage seat heating and bi-level lumbar support. - Self-adjusting front seat belts. - Magazine stowage to front seat backs. - Independently electrically adjustable rear seats. - Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system with side-to-side. - Split level (face/feet) and front-rear temperature regulation, pollen and dust micro-filters, dehumidifier and residual heating. - Twin drinks holders to front centre console and rear console. - One touch open/close electric window operation. - 4x35 Watt radio/cassette/6 CD autochanger audio system with remote control for rear passenger operation.
