- The Bentley Arnage Final Series is an exclusive run of 150 cars, celebrating the last of Arnage. Finally the production terminated after no more than 96 cars.
- The Bentley Arnage Final Series combines the performance of the T (500 bhp) with the refinement of the R and design elements from the Brooklands coupe.
- The Bentley Arnage Final Series is the culmination of 90 years of Bentley heritage (1919) and marks the 50th anniversary of the company's iconic V8 engine (1959). The 2009 variant of the engine is still loosely based on the same design that was introduced in the 1959 Bentley S2. However, the 2008 engine shares no interchangeable parts with the 1950 model, the last common item having been replaced in 2005. When the engine was first unveiled promotional literature described power and torque as 'adequate'. Now twin-turbocharged, the all-aluminium alloy engine delivers 0-60 mph in 5.3 seconds in a car weighing 2.5 tonnes. Fuel consumption is heavy, with Bentley stating that the model averages less than 10 mpg in the city and just over 20 on the highway in European testing.
- A replacement model, the Bentley Mulsanne, has been launched in August 2009, at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, in Monterey, California.
General characteristics
- Arnage T powertrain with 6.75 litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, producing 500 bhp and 1000 Nm of torque.
- Six-speed ZF 5HP30 5HP30 automatic transmission with sophisticated locking torque converter provides fast yet ultra-smooth gearshifts.
- The model is offered with 42 exterior colour schemes, 25 interior hides and three wood veneers. It can also be specified with the bespoke color-matching offered by Bentley.
- Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) logic system improves dynamic response and handling with less intrusive intervention when a reduction in grip is detected.

- The chassis numbers of the Silver Seraph and Bentley Arnage models (1998 up to and including 2010) are assigned per model year. All models have got mixed numbers. Only the Long wheelbase models (2000 up to and including 2009) have got series of numbers of their own.
- The numbers run from 1001 up to and including 6786 and from 8000 to about 14700. The numbers of the Long wheelbase models run from 7501 up to and including 7651 and from 19000 up to and including 19679.
- It is striking that one single car was provided with a chassis number that doesn't fit in any series of numbers. It concerns the SCBLF45F99CH07910. This number is part of the unused numbers between model year 2001 (ending on number 07651) and model year 2002 (starting on number 08000).
